It is open a tender for the award of a Research Fellowship for Graduates under the Strategic Project - IU 21 - 2011-2012 ( PEst-C/HIS/UI0021/2011 ) , financed by national funds through FCT / MEC ( PIDDAC ) and co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through COMPETE - Operational Programme for Competitiveness Factors (POFC)
Field of study: International Relations
Admission Requirements :
Academic background: Degree in International Relations
Other Requirements: Good knowledge of English, spoken and written; initiative, critical thinking and availability for national and international travels.
Work plan: word processing, text editing, support in the preparation of scientific reports; researchers support; administrative support within research projects.
Legislation and regulations: Law No. 40/2004, of August 18 (By-laws of Scientific Research Fellow); Research Grant Regulation by the Foundation for Science and Technology, IP - 2013 (www.fct.pt/aid/scholarships/regulamento.phtml.pt).
Place of work: The project will be developed on the premises of CEPESE and places that CEPESE determines, depending on research needs in archives and cultural centres.
Grant length: The grant will have the duration of 12 months, commencing on March 1, 2014.
Value of monthly maintenance allowance: The amount of the grant corresponds to 745€, according to the table of grants awarded directly by FCT, IP in Portugal (http://alfa.fct.mctes.pt/apoios/bolsas/valores).

Form of disclosure/notification of results: The final results of the evaluation will be communicated to applicants via email.
