Continuing a number of International Seminar that CEPESE has been organizing within the scope of the Project "Emigration from Portugal to Brasil", the sixth edition had as main themes the legislation and political speech related to emigration; emigration from Azores to Brazil and the comparative analysis between Portuguese and Italian emigration to that destination.

International Seminar "NATO New Strategic Concept, New Challenges in the XXI Century"
CEPESE organized an international conference under the theme "Nato: New Strategic Concept, New Challenges in the XXI century", where was debated the report of the Group of Experts on the New Strategic Concept and the need for the Alliance to adapt to new challenges and threats of the 21st century, such as weapons of mass destruction, terrorism, energy security and cyberdefence.
