YOU2_TELL_EU
This project aims to preserve and pass on the memories of immigrants from Eastern Europe. Based on the accounts of the experiences of the time before the fall of the Berlin Wall, second-generation immigrants will (re)tell the stories and memories of their parents and grandparents, becoming memory makers and actors of change.
This campaign of preservation and recreation of the European collective memory will be supported by several initiatives, namely storytelling laboratories and public exhibition of videos produced during the said laboratories. CEPESE is the disseminator of this project in Portugal and is also involved in the organization of the European Storytelling Laboratory and the European Event of Oral History and Storytelling, working together with other European institutions, namely the Associazione Nazionale Comuni Italiani Toscana (Italy) and St Vincent's Family Project (UK).
