Characterization of the social functions performed by the Municipality of Porto

This Research Project aimed at describing the social functions under the competence of and performed by the Municipality of Porto at the present time, namely in areas such as education, health and social care.

Following the agreement established with Porto’s Municipal Government, CEPESE developed a research project aiming at characterizing such functions, namely in areas such as education, health and social care, under the competence of the Municipality of Porto, including the decentralized functions for external entities or in which this Municipality takes part.
