The Mayors of Ponte de Lima (1822-2012)

This project proposes to trace the biographies of the Mayors of the Municipality of Ponte de Lima between the beginning of Liberalism in Portugal and the present time, understanding their action in front of the local Government and tracing the evolution of the legislative framework for local government in Contemporary Portugal under which the various Mayors exercised their functions.
