Santa Maria School of Health (1952-2022)

Always keeping the focus on the initial mission and charisma of the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady, Santa Maria School of Health assumed itself as a school open to contemporary challenges and concerned with the training of professionals in the various areas of health and long-term care in a qualified, technically and scientific manner, while keeping the Franciscan spirit, meeting the demands of the population in general, particularly those in need for specific care, with special concern for the most disadvantaged and socially fragile. As this book shows, throughout seven decades of existence, the School has evolved, expanded its teaching staff and training areas, acquired new facilities and equipment, and became a reference of quality and prestige in terms of personal and tecnical training in the field of nursing.
